- If you're drag racing your C7 Z06 and need consistent launches from a standing start then check out the Lingenfelter LNC-2014 Gen V V8 RPM Limiter Timing Retard Launch Controller for LT1 & LT4 Engines. With turbocharged, it can be used to retard the timing in order to build more boost.
- The LNC-2014 has fully encapsulated construction, is custom molded, with a high temperature, glass filled Nylon 6 enclosure, so it has direct access to controller settings without requiring panels or covers to be removed. Each coil drive circuit has a dedicated timer to keep the timing accurate over the full RPM range. The coil pack connection design is plug and play, so it's easy to install and remove.
- For reliable and fast acting spark based engine RPM limit control, the LNC-2001 can be used as an adjustable individual RPM limiter. This is useful in cars that have an auxiliary fuel control system where it's not possible to shut it and the ECM/PCM fuel at the same time, because if they don't turn off at the same time, the engine could be severely damaged.
- Note: Because it disables spark to individual cylinders, and not fuel, this is not meant for street cars or those equipped with cat converters and is only for race track use only. Don't operate engine with this active for extended periods of time, because the raw fuel in exhaust could result in a backfire.
