- After you thoroughly clean and degrease the metal surface that you need to add rust coating to, you need POR-15 Metal Prep, which neutralizes rust and gently etches metal to create an anchor pattern for the rust coating. It also leaves a zinc phosphate coating that'll ensure chemical bonding of paint and steel. It's easy to use, leaves no harmful residues, is reusable, and improves welding conductivity. You can choose from 1 quart or 1 gallon when you checkout.
