  • If you're drag racing, you know how important it is to be the first to launch from a standing start and be consistent about it, so check out this Lingenfelter LNC-2000 RPM Limiter Timing Retard Launch Controller for GM LS Engines.
  • In cars with turbochargers, the LNC-2000 can be used to retard the timing in order to build more boost, with or without the launch control RPM active. The Timing Retard function can be used by itself or while the Launch Control RPM limit function is active. It can also be used as an adjustable individual cylinder RPM limiter, which provides fast acting, spark based engine RPM limit control that's reliable. This is also helps with auxiliary fuel control systems where it's not possible to make sure the aux system and factory ECM/PCM turn off at the same time, because if they don't cut the fuel line at the same time, it risks severely damaging your engine.
  • The LNC-2000 has only one RPM limit setting, so you'll need to use the factory PCM/ECM as the engine maximum RPM limiter speed governor. The RPM limiter function disables spark to individual cylinders, but not fuel, so the Launch Control function isn't meant for street use or cars equipped with catalytic converters.
  • Note: Track use only. Do not operate the engine with the LNC-2000 active for extended periods of time, due to risk of backfire.
