These C3 Corvette 1968-1982 Global West Rear Suspension Swing Arms with Bearing Pivot are offset to the inside to allow for a bigger tire and wheel package install. The parking brake cable, which causes the most problems, is repositioned to run through the control arm instead of underneath it which allows more back space on the wheel.
Once the cable is out of the way, the next limiting factor for larger tires is the inside fender well, not the swing arm. This C3 Corvette swing arm design does not look like a heavy offset like others on the market, but the clearance is there because of the innovative changes made to the arm.
At the forward location of the C3 Corvette swing arm, a Teflon lined spherical bearing is installed that allows the swing arm to move through the suspension arch without bind. This results in a much simpler tuning of the suspension because the spring rate is not affected.
Fits the 1968-1982 C3 Corvette.
