  • "Delivery Day: The 69's" is an exquisite Acrylic on Board original painting by renowned automotive artist, David Snyder (aka Dave Snyder). This piece, the fourth of five commissioned by Dan Lekander, Founder of Corvette America, transports you back to the captivating atmosphere of a 1969 car dealership lot.
  • In the painting, Suburban Chevrolet is overflowing with brand-new Corvette models, still on the carrier due to the sheer influx of new arrivals. Other captivating models such as a Kingswood, Monte Carlo, Camaro RS, and Caprice Convertible glimmer under the showroom lights. A vividly painted McDonald's in the background adds an unmistakable sense of time and place to the scene.
  • Immerse yourself in the anticipation of a new car owner rushing to pick up their 1969 Corvette. Feel the rush of excitement in the vibrant orange sunset, reflecting on the gleaming, fresh-off-the-line American cars. The painting creates a sensory overload, with the sight of new Camaros, Chevelles, Novas, and even the V8 family hauler Kingswood filling the lot.
  • Yet, despite the dealership's varied offerings, all eyes are on the C3 Corvette. Its iconic "Coke Bottle" shape steals the show, turning even the most experienced salespeople's heads as the final C3 rolls off the carrier.
  • "Delivery Day: The 69's" does more than depict a scene
  • it encapsulates the emotion and anticipation of that day, inviting you to relive the excitement every time you look at it. This one-of-a-kind original piece by Dave Snyder offers a rare opportunity to own a moment from the iconic 1969 Corvette's delivery day.
