• When designing this cold air intake we had one primary goal in mind: "how do we provide superior airflow that results in noticeable performance increases that our power-hungry corvette enthusiasts can have a blast in?" See, we didn't just want an intake that looked good inside the engine bay but didn't deliver on performance like most of the other intakes on the market-No-we wanted some real "adrenaline rush" producing results! This ambitious goal created a real challenge for us, to innovate and create a unique/elite product. So after months of grueling brainstorming, testing, and detailed engineering
• The Vortex Ram Induction Air Intake Was Born!
• This vortex rammer kit replaces the restrictive stock air box assembly. Look closely at the filter and note that this is not the K&N filter that everyone sells. This revolutionary air cleaner contains an internal vortex velocity stack. It obtains cool, pressurized air from the radiator cavity through your modified shroud. Air is forced through a sealed box, where in turn, it directly injects cold air into your intake (lowering manifold air temperature by almost 30 degrees.) Remember, cold air means more power. Our HP results have already shown up to 36HP and 38FT/LBS at the flywheel. Running at speed has given an additional up to 10 more Hp due to the air being forced in. This is from the benefit of the pressurized air that is created at high speeds (which means there will be more horsepower at speeds over 35 MPH.)
• 1/4 mile tests showed 3 MPH faster and 3/10ths of a second quicker
• C6 auto test one showed 26 flywheel HP
• C6 stick test two showed 21 flywheel HP
